Lost and Found Services

VCU Libraries offers a Lost and Found service. Items in lost and found will be retained for 120 days; unclaimed items will be surplused. Library staff will make an attempt to contact the owner if sufficient identification is available, while respecting the owner’s privacy.

Patrons at James Branch Cabell Library who find an item that may be lost should bring it to the Information Desk in the lobby. Questions? Call (804) 828-1111 or text (804) 435-5420. If you believe you've lost an item at Cabell Library, you can describe and report it using this form.

The Health Sciences Library provides an in-house Lost and Found service. Patrons who find or lose an item should visit the Service Desk on the first floor for assistance. Questions? Call (804) 828-0636.
