Accessibility Station

The Accessibility Station is located on the first floor of Cabell Library outside the entrance to the 121 suite. The station is wheelchair accessible and available to all VCU students, faculty and staff.

Technology

• SARA (Scanning and Reading Appliance) with monitor and headphones that scans and reads printed materials; also reads Daisy audio books and audio CDs
• Flatbed scanner and computer with JAWS and Open Book software to scan and digitize printed text; reads text aloud with a synthesized voice or will save to a computer file.
