Laptops

Students can check out laptops using their VCUCard at the IT Support Center on the lower level in Cabell Library.

Desktop computing

Windows computers are located throughout Cabell and Health Sciences Libraries. Software includes Microsoft Office 2016, Respondus Lockdown for secure remote testing, Skype, GIMP image editor, Audacity, Logger Pro, Microsoft Magnifier, and statistical, mathematical, and scientific software such as SAS, SPSS, Mathematica, STATA and JMP via App2Go. 

The Accessibility Station has software for vision-impaired users.

Print, scan and copy

Affordable or free print, scan and copy services are available. 

Microform viewers

Microform viewers are available on the third floor of Cabell Library and in the Multimedia Collaboration Room at Health Sciences Library.

Multimedia

Computers, software and equipment for viewing, creating and editing multimedia include

• The Workshop and the Gaming/Viewing Room are The Workshop, lower level in Cabell Library. Creative Technologies and Scholarship Department staff are able to help with media software and best practices. 
• Multimedia Collaboration Room in the basement of Health Sciences Library.
