VCU Libraries will run an Instagram contest March 18-29. The prize will be a guaranteed reservation for a study room during the high-use spring semester exam season. Along with a room for six–the winner and five friends– comes free pizzas to fuel the study session.

Participants must be current students who chose to follow VCU Libraries on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/vculibraries/and post a selfie or photo in library spaces. Photos can capture a study group, the architecture, an event, a favorite study spot or chair or anything you like about James Branch Cabell Library or the VCU Health Sciences Library.  

The photo must be posted on a public Instagram account to the grid before entries end at 11:59 pm. March 29 and must use the hashtag #ILoveVCULibraries.   

The winner will be selected by counting the number of posts and inserting that sum into a random number generator. The post associated with the generated number will be the winner.  The winner will be contacted via Direct Message on Instagram. They will be asked for their VCU email address and will be emailed to set up communication about the prize after their current student status has been verified.
