VCU graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and early career faculty are invited to apply for a travel scholarship to OpenCon 2018, the student and early career researchers conference on Open Access, Open Education and Open Data to be held Nov. 2-4, 2018 in Toronto.

OpenCon seeks to bring together students and early career academic professionals from around the world to advance Open Access, Open Education, and Open Data. The OpenCon community extends beyond the conference in Toronto this November. Attendees will also have the opportunity to find new collaborators to advance Open initiatives and actively participate in a larger community of Open advocates year-round.

One scholarship will be awarded, which will cover conference registration, travel expenses, lodging and some meals. Applicants must apply by Sept. 3 online.
