Plan ahead if you need Interlibrary Loans or delivery services to aid your research during the upcoming holiday break. That department will be closed Dec. 21-Jan. 3, 2018. 

The time required to obtain materials from other institutions increases during December and January due to winter breaks, holiday delays and busy end-of-semester workloads. Many libraries do not lend at all from mid-December through mid-January. With this in mind, some of your requested materials may not be obtained until January 2018. 

 

You will not incur any fees for Interlibrary Loan materials that become due during the VCU Winter closing. Loan items that become due during the closing may be returned Jan. 3.
