The Friends of VCU Libraries Book Sale was a yearly staple of Monroe Park Campus life until 2014 and 2015, when construction at James  Branch Cabell Library made the sale impossible. The sale returns Oct. 27-31.

This spring the Friends offered a one-day "pop-up" sale in the new Cabell Library Lecture Hall to help reduce a large stock of donated books. The sale raised $5,000. The Friends of VCU Libraries Book Sale is now a partnership with the VCU Emerging Leaders Program that provides leadership development through study and service.
