Library of the Future Fund
Established in 2017, this endowed fund will ensure that the library workspaces of the future will keep pace with changes in education, research and student needs by providing an ongoing stream of financial resources future administrators can use to meet students’ needs for furnishings, study tools and technologies without depending on state dollars or operations funding gleaned from increases in fees or tuition.
This fund is an inviting giving opportunity for people with a keen awareness of the costs of higher education, a vision for the future and a commitment to stewardship and meeting the needs of future generations of students. It will anticipate and prepare for trends in study and research and vast changes in technology that already are driving scholarship and inspiring innovation. Tomorrow's academic libraries will see even more radical change. This fund helps us to be ready.
