Description
International Love Data Week is celebrated annually the week of Valentines Day. It is sponsored by the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research, or ICPSR.
VCU is a member of ICPSR, providing access to datasets for secondary use across a wide range of health, political, and social issues. This helps support student and faculty research and evaluation needs, as well as skills for data-driven decision making.
In celebration of Love Data Week, a popup library of books celebrating data for change will be displayed in the Cabell Library lobby. For a preview of the popup collection and links to more resources, visit our Love Data Week guide at https://guides.library.vcu.edu/icpsr/ldw
Innovative Media and the Health Sciences Library will be collaborating for a reprise of their Data, Design, and Dissemination series focused on research communication. For Love Data Week, the Data section of the series will be offered on February 13. Learn more at https://vcu.libcal.com/event/10215693

VCUL supports data-focused education and data discovery through partnerships between the Research Data department, subject specialist librarians, and faculty throughout campus. VCUL’s Research Data team also helps researchers throughout the VCU community to love their data with data management and ethical data sharing. We’ve been especially busy this year collaborating with OVPRI to help faculty effectively address the new NIH data sharing regulations.
